Most European countries have communist and post-communist parties, often represented in both national and European parliaments. Although it is hard to believe it, after 100 years of red terror, the idea of communism is still able to seduce people. Today, the Russian Federation, the heir of the USSR, seems not only not to be blurring or eliminating the remains of the communist system, but also to use them in its neo-imperialist policy, the aim of which seems to be to rebuild the international position from the times of the Soviet Union.
